Do you need fast, efficient, quality work done at a fair price? Stop at Maple Shade Pep Boys. No rip-offs here (unlike a dealership, and you know what I mean). In addition to oil change, filter replacements, I replaced rear shocks, replaced coolant and replaced brake fluid. It was not a small ticket. I was impressed and will be telling all my friends to go to Pep Boys in Maple Shade.

Very disappointing experience. I came here for a simple oil change, but the technician forgot to reinstall the engine oil filler cap. As a result, oil splashed all over the engine compartment while I was driving. This is a basic step that should never be overlooked. I had to return to the shop to have them inspect the vehicle, verify the oil level, confirm that the oil filter had actually been replaced, and clean the engine bay because of their mistake. This could have caused serious damage to my engine if it had gone unnoticed. Mistakes can happen, but forgetting something as critical as the oil cap raises serious concerns about their attention to detail and quality of work. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. To make matters worse, when I returned to the shop to report the issue, they did not properly clean the oil that had been sprayed throughout the engine compartment, and no one even offered a simple apology for their mistake. Instead of taking full responsibility, they handled the situation as if it were a minor inconvenience. I expected much better customer service and professionalism after such a serious oversight.

Overall a great experience. I arrived on time and PB finished my car when they said they would. One issue I had is the technician over filled my new tires (36lbs). I will take them down to their proper inflation, 32lbs, in the morning.

I brought my car in because I was having to refill my brand new tire much more often than normal. After keeping my car overnight, without ever informing me that would be the case, they called to say there was a crack in the rim. They told me I could leave the car overnight and they would order the part the following day or i could pick it up. At no point did they make it seem like this was a serious issue or that the damage was severe. Since I had work the next day, I decided to pick up my car and bring it back later. However, as soon as I drove off the lot, my car started shaking violently. I immediately turned around, and before I could even make it back, my tire popped. When I returned, the front-desk employee and Jess the assistant manager were extremely rude and even yelled at me. I was never told it wasn’t safe to drive my car, or advised not to drive, and I ended up picking my car up in worse condition than when I brought it in. This business takes no accountability for its mistakes and acts as if they can do no wrong. I’ll be taking my car to an independent mechanic from now on.

The quality of the work was top-notch, and I left feeling confident in the repairs and maintenance they performed.
